For EAs and travel managers arranging Changi Airport pickups for executives and visiting clients — terminals, timing, vehicle choice, flight tracking, and billing in one place.

Arranging a professional airport pickup at Changi should be one of the simpler parts of managing an executive or client visit to Singapore. Book the vehicle, confirm the flight number, and the rest happens automatically. In practice, the questions that come up most often — which terminal, how does flight tracking work, what vehicle, how does billing work — are the ones this guide answers in full so the booking takes five minutes and the pickup goes exactly as planned.
Changi Airport has four operational passenger terminals and they are not all in the same location. T1, T2, and T3 form the main terminal complex, connected airside by the Skytrain. T4 is a physically separate building on the eastern side of the airport, accessible by bus shuttle from the main complex — it has its own arrivals hall, its own check-in zone, and its own private hire pickup zone.
This distinction matters for every airport pickup booking because a driver who arrives at T3 when the passenger lands at T4 is in the right airport but the wrong building. Repositioning requires exiting the terminal, driving around the airport perimeter, and re-entering T4 — a process that takes 20 to 30 minutes and leaves the arriving guest waiting at an empty arrivals hall.
Always confirm the terminal at booking. It is printed on the flight booking confirmation, shown on the airline’s check-in notification, and visible on any flight tracking app. If the passenger is unsure, the flight number alone is enough — we confirm the terminal from live flight data.
Which airlines use which terminal at Changi: T1 handles Singapore Airlines regional services, Cathay Pacific, Qantas, and Emirates among others. T2 handles Singapore Airlines long-haul, Scoot, and Jetstar. T3 handles Singapore Airlines services and SilkAir. T4 handles AirAsia, Cathay Pacific regional, Korean Air, and several other carriers. Terminal assignments do change — always verify from the specific booking confirmation rather than memory.
From the moment a Changi Airport pickup is confirmed with a flight number, the following happens without any further action from the EA:
The flight is tracked from departure. Real-time status — departure delay, airborne updates, revised estimated landing time — feeds directly into the driver’s staging schedule. For a flight delayed by 45 minutes, the driver adjusts their departure from the depot by the same margin. For a flight landing 20 minutes early, we make every effort to reposition in time and notify the EA immediately via WhatsApp.
The driver is positioned at the correct terminal’s arrivals hall 15 minutes before the revised estimated landing time. A WhatsApp notification goes to both the EA and — if a mobile number has been provided — the arriving passenger, confirming the driver’s name, contact number, and exact meeting point.
The passenger clears customs, exits into the arrivals hall, and finds a name sign. Luggage is handled from the meeting point to the vehicle. The vehicle is staged at the private hire pickup zone, pre-cooled. Transit from the arrivals hall exit to the vehicle and onto the road typically takes 8 to 12 minutes at Changi.
No surge pricing applies for delays. No rebooking is required if the schedule shifts. The EA sends a booking confirmation and the system handles everything else until the passenger is in the car.
Single executive or two passengers, standard luggage: Executive sedan (Toyota Camry). Efficient, professionally presented, appropriate for most corporate arrivals. From SGD $80 airport transfer rate.
Senior executive, board member, VIP client, or any arrival where the vehicle standard matters: Toyota Alphard. Captain seats, quiet cabin, luggage capacity, premium presentation at the arrivals hall. From SGD $110 airport transfer rate. For a visiting client whose opinion of your company is being formed from the moment they exit customs, the Alphard is the correct choice.
Group of 3 to 5: Toyota Alphard handles up to 4 passengers comfortably with luggage. For 5 to 7, Toyota Noah or Voxy MPV. For 8 or more arriving together, 13-seater Hi-Roof Tourer or discuss a multi-vehicle fleet split.
Delegation across multiple flights: For groups arriving on different flights at different terminals, each arrival is treated as a separate booking with its own assigned driver and vehicle. A fleet coordinator manages all arrivals under one corporate account. For the full delegation logistics approach, see our overseas delegates transport guide.
For departure transfers, recommended pickup timing from the CBD to Changi:
International flights (long-haul): 3 hours before departure. Accounts for CBD morning or evening traffic on the PIE or AYE, check-in queues, and immigration at Changi.
Regional flights: 2.5 hours before departure. Most regional check-in counters close 45 minutes before departure — this buffer provides adequate margin even with moderate traffic.
T4 departures specifically: Add 15 minutes to the above. T4 requires a shuttle link from the main terminal for certain airside facilities, and its departure zone has a different road approach that adds marginal time.
The driver sends a reminder WhatsApp the evening before confirming pickup time and vehicle details. Your executive does not need to track the logistics — it arrives in their phone the night before.
For visits where the executive arrives in the morning and has a full day of meetings, the most efficient structure is a single hourly booking that starts at the airport and continues through the day’s programme. The same driver who meets the executive at arrivals stays with them through every meeting, lunch, and afternoon commitment — no handover, no rebooking between legs.
For a full breakdown of why the combined structure works better than separate point-to-point bookings for each leg, see our guide to combining airport pickup with hourly chauffeur disposal.
For companies with a corporate chauffeur account, all Changi Airport pickups are billed on a monthly consolidated invoice. Each pickup appears as a line item with date, flight number, terminal, route, vehicle class, base rate, and ERP charges at actual cost shown separately.
No receipt management, no individual payment per booking, no expense claim processing for the EA. One invoice, one payment, full trip record for finance and audit purposes.

WhatsApp Chauffeur Service Singapore at +65 8092 7662 with the flight number, arrival terminal, passenger name, number of passengers, luggage count, vehicle preference, and destination. We confirm with a fixed rate and assign a driver. The driver tracks the flight in real time and is positioned at arrivals 15 minutes before landing. No further action is required after confirmation.
T1, T2, and T3 share the main Changi terminal complex and are connected airside by the Skytrain. Each has its own arrivals hall and private hire pickup zone. T4 is a physically separate terminal on the eastern side of the airport with its own arrivals hall, its own pickup zone, and no airside connection to T1/T2/T3. A driver at T3 cannot reposition to T4 quickly — always confirm the correct terminal at booking. The terminal is shown on the flight booking confirmation and on any flight tracking app.
Yes. All Changi Airport pickup bookings include real-time flight tracking. The driver adjusts their staging time automatically for any delay. No surcharge applies for flight delays of any duration. If the flight is cancelled, notify us as soon as possible to reschedule or refund. For early arrivals of more than 30 minutes, contact us via WhatsApp so we can attempt to reposition the driver ahead of schedule.
Corporate airport pickup rates start from SGD $80 for an executive sedan to a standard CBD destination. Toyota Alphard airport pickup starts from SGD $110. All rates are fixed at confirmation — no surge pricing regardless of flight delay, time of day, or traffic. ERP charges incurred during the transfer are added at actual cost and shown separately on the monthly corporate invoice.
